Stichting Lotus Child Education is erop gericht educatie toegankelijk te maken voor alle kinderen van het Lotus Children's Centre in Gachuurt-Mongolia.
Toegang tot educatie is een basisbehoefte. Het is de basis voor hun persoonlijke-, sociale- en maatschappelijke ontwikkeling. Het geeft kansen, kennis en zelfvertrouwen. Als de kinderen kans krijgen tot educatie kunnen zij stap voor stap de armoedecirkel doorbreken.
Naast dat goede scholing veelal te duur is, zijn er een aantal andere belangrijke redenen waarom de kinderen van het Lotus Children's Centre niet aan het juiste onderwijs kunnen deelnemen:
- schaamte
- sociale uitsluiting
- gebrek aan mentaal welbevinden
Ieder kind heeft andere vaardigheden en kwaliteiten. Door ieder kind apart te beoordelen en te observeren worden passende mogelijkheden voor hen geboden.
Een aantal kinderen van het Lotus Children's Centre zijn eerder praktisch dan theoretisch gericht. Of een kind nu graag studeert, werkt of sport, hun keuze staat centraal en wordt effectief gebruikt om passende educatie te bieden. Ons doel is om hen uit de armoedecirkel te halen. Wij willen ieder kind ondersteunen én stimuleren om hun eigen keuze te maken voor een betere toekomst.
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
The Lotus Child Education Foundation aims to make education accessible to all children of the Lotus Children's Center in Gachuurt-Mongolia.
Access to education is a basic need. It is the basis for their personal, social and societal development. It provides opportunities, knowledge and self-confidence. If the children are given the opportunity of education, they can break the cycle of poverty step by step.
Besides the fact that good education is often too expensive, there are a number of other important reasons why the children of the Lotus Children's Center cannot participate in the right education:
- shame
- social exclusion
- lack of mental well-being
Each child has different skills and qualities. Appropriate opportunities are provided for them by assessing and observing each child individually.
A number of children at the Lotus Children's Center are more practical than theoretical oriented. Whether a child likes to study, work or play sports, their choice is central and is used effectively to provide appropriate education. Our aim is to get them out of the poverty circle. We want to support and encourage each child to make their own choice for a better future.
